PALILULA “REVIVING” ABANDONEDED CENTERS

Cultural center “Radivoje Domanovic” in Krusce, after half century from building, gets new look. With efforts of Citizens` Council and with support of City Municipality of Palilula this public object again will become a place for gathering of residents of this settlement, which by latest census has 243 households and has about 1000 residents. Works performs company “Podvig” and in first phase will be reconstructed three rooms with about 100 square meters. According to Alexander and Velja, currently there is works on replacing of installation, painting walls and woodwork and then follows continue of work in big hall of the Center. President of Citizens` Council of Krusce, Tomislav Stojanovic does not hide the pleasure that the reconstruction of Center takes place within the stipulated time.

“Thanks to the Palilula Municipality, youth of our village will have place to gather and we older to hold meetings and assemblies of the citizens – highlights president of the Council Stojadinovic. Especially that will mean to members of our cultural-artistic society and to football club “Morava – Krusce”. Social life is finally returning to our place.  

Members of Council of City Municipality of Palilula, Milos Stojkovic, who on this occasion visited constructors, reminds that it was recently by financial support of Municipality successfully finished reconstruction of hall of Cultural Center in Lalinac. Promise given to residents from Krusce, on this way we fulfill. However, it is necessary higher level of citizens initiative and participation of  citizens in interior of living space. City Municipality of Palilula, will support each initiative that is contributes to improvement of quality of life of residents in Krusce – says member of Council Stojkovic.
